NAFEMS
NAFEMS is the International Association for the Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Community. We are a not-for-profit organisation which was established in 1983. We focus on the practical application of numerical engineering simulation techniques such the Finite Element Method for Structural Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Multibody Simulation. In addition to end users from all industry sectors, our stakeholders include technology providers, researchers and academics.
CeSOS
Our focus is the development of fundamental knowledge concerning the design and operation of future ships and ocean structures by integrating theoretical and experimental research in marine hydrodynamics, structural mechanics and automatic control.
SEMNI
Es patente la implantación en nuestro país de los métodos numéricos para la solución por ordenador de los problemas más diversos de la ingeniería y la ciencia. Métodos Numéricos como los elementos finitos, diferencias finitas, volúmenes finitos, integral de contorno y espectrales, entre otros, han posibilitado el estudio y la investigación en áreas hasta ahora inabordables por procedimientos más tradicionales.
CIMNE
The International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) is a research organization created in 1987 at the heart of the prestigious Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) as a partnership between the Government of Catalonia and UPC, in cooperation with UNESCO. The aim of CIMNE is the development of numerical methods and computational techniques for advancing knowledge and technology in engineering and applied sciences.
IACM
Computational Mechanics is the development and application of numerical methods and digital computers to the solution of problems posed by Engineering and Applied Science with the objectives of understanding and harnessing the resources of nature. While Computational Solid Mechanics (CSM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are at the core of our activity, such subjects as Thermodynamics, Electro Magnetism, Rigid Body Mechanics, Control Systems and some aspects of Particle Physics fall naturally within the scope of the definition. Indeed the provision of a common forum for discussion, education and research information transfer between the diverse disciplines represented is the main "raison d'être" of IACM.
